About this Frosted Cranberry Moscow Mule
I’m kicking your normal mule up a notch with the holiday flavors of sugared cranberries and fizzy ginger beer that’s both festive and refreshing. This Frosted Cranberry Moscow Mule is perfect for all of the holiday celebrations from Thanksgiving through New Years. Did you know that if you’ve overindulged in the holiday sweets, the ginger in this drink can actually soothe your tummy? Of course, you have to use ginger beer with real ginger. Just check your ingredient list on the packaging before purchasing if you’re curious.
The ingredients are few and simple, but combined, they make for such a fun and festive gram-worthy drink!
Why are Moscow Mules always served in these glasses?
If you like you get scientific about your food (and I totally do), the point of the copper moscow mule glass is that copper is an excellent thermal conductor that helps keep whatever is inside the cup at a steady temperature. So, in this case, your drink stays frosty for a longer period of time and the ice doesn’t melt as quickly so you can savor your drink to the last drop.
I got my mule glasses here >>> Copper Moscow Mule Mugs — but don’t stress if you don’t have mule glasses. It tastes just as well in any glass!
Sugared Cranberries? Never heard of ’em.
If you like the idea of making this drink even a little more extra special, making these sugared cranberries from A Spicy Perspective blog is the perfect solution! You’ll use the leftover cranberry and orange infused syrup to make the drink and you’ll be able to save some of those delicious cranberries for garnishing your drink! (You can also just use a regular simple syrup, but the cranberry orange infusion is just so festive!). The cranberries themselves
The rosemary sprig is also optional but I highly recommend it because eating and drinking is just as much about smell as it is taste. The aroma of the rosemary combined with the cranberry and ginger is so fantastic and I don’t want you to miss out! It also looks so fabulous and somehow don’t you think things just taste better if they look pretty?
